January 11, 2006: AT&T recognized as top donor by San Diego County Office of Education Board of Directors.
The San Diego County Office of Education Board of Directors recognized AT&T as the top donor to date when AT&T currently reached the $500,000 mark. Amont those present at the January 11th presentation were Gordon Moss, Sales Manger; and Ignacio de La Torre, Executive Director External Affairs South. Here they view the plaque view the plaque being presented by Superintent Rudy Castruita. The plaque will be placed in the Rindone Technology Center.


July 21, 2005: AT&T Communications named 2005 Education Partner of the Year
San Francisco Business Times recognizes AT&T Communications for wide-ranging financial and employee volunteer support to improve Bay Area education; Company ranked among top corporate Philanthropists in Bay Area
AT&T Communications, Inc. today received the Education Partner of the Year Award for companies with $500 million-plus revenue at the Bay Area Corporate Philanthropy Summit & Awards, sponsored by the San Francisco Business Times. The award recognizes the significant support provided by the company for Bay Area-based initiatives that have improved student achievement, teacher preparedness and minority student success. In addition, AT&T Communications was named to the San Francisco Business Times Top Corporate Philanthropist list for financial contributions to Bay Area nonprofit organizations.

May 20, 2005: AT&T helps California Distinguished Schools Program celebrate its 20th anniversary
The California Distinguished Schools Program honors some of the state's most exemplary and inspiring public schools. Schools selected for Distinguished School Awards are strong, well-rounded community schools. The awards ceremony is funded by generous contributions from corporate, foundation, and association donations, as well as the attending schools' registration fees. April 26, 2005: KNE named one of ISTE 101 Best Web Sites
The Knowledge Network Explorer was recently selected by distinguished author James Lerman as one of the best Web sites for teachers on the Internet today. Mr. Lerman went through an exhaustive and rigorous process to select sites for his book 101 Best Web Sites for Secondary Teachers, published by the International Society for Technology in Education. Every site featured in these books, including yours, has been allotted a full page. Congratulations, and thank you for creating a valuable resource for educators.
