* Online Reads
  • Council on Foundations is not going to provide specific information on current grants. However, you can get an insider's view of how philanthropic activities take place. There is an online magazine called the Foundation News and Commentary, a glossary of terms and a whole lot more that you can access without membership. Still can't find it? Try the search page.
  • TechLEARNING.com website publications. There is grant info, Studies in Ed Tech, Articles From the Classroom, Professional Development, Leadership, software reviews, and way more.
  • EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology. Learning Resources focus on Cybersecurity, Information Systems and Services, Information Technology Management, Networking and Emerging Technologies, Policy & Law, and Teaching & Learning.
  • FYI Funding Opportunities from the University of Florida, Office of Research, Technology and Graduate Education. Take a look at the current issue to get a subject listing of possible grant sources. Higher ed oriented.
* E-Journals
  1. John Labovitz's E-Zine-List permits searching for electronic magazines on a particular topic. You can browse by keyword or title, or you can use the keyword search tool.
  2. eZINESearch allows you to search by title and keyword for e-zines. The Sub Directory TOP 100 Search Index lists by topic and is easier to use.
  3. NewJour lists new journals and newsletters available on the Internet. You can subscribe to receive email notification when new entries are added.
  4. Electronic Journals refereed journals gathered by the University of Colorado at Denver, College of Education related to Learning Technologies, Communications and Culture. Includes a brief description for each entry.
  5. School Issues from Education World. See what others are concerned about and what they are saying.
  6. eSchool News Educator Resource Center helps you stay current on important school technology news, products, events, and more.
