Filamentality Posting Policy

The Knowledge Network Explorer will host your Filamentality page for at least 12 months past the date it was created. If you don't log in (requires Username and Password) within 12 months, it will become inactive and will be moved to our dead files folder.

Due to the extremely large number of Filamentality users (over 6000 a month!), we cannot send out notices when your file is in danger of being removed. You will have to monitor it yourself.

Deletes are usually performed in January, April, July, and October. If you have questions, you can use our KNE Feedback form to ask us questions. Don't forget your email address so we can respond!

There is some good news! It's easy to extend the life of your files by periodically logging in. This changes the creation date. You can:

1. Log back in to "Return to Existing Page" (requires username and password).
   
   
2. Cycle through the formats depending on which one you made until you generate the URL. (For example if you made a Hotlist, select "Hotlist" from the Navigation Menu twice until you see the "Quick View" and your URL).
   
   
3. When the URL is given to you, you have updated your creation date. The URL will remain the same.
   
   
4. Relax for another year.
